Phoebe Sharp

My name is Phoebe Sharp and I'm a senior Physics major at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. Since freshman year, I have been apart of my SPS chapter as treasurer. I helped plan our annual Pumpkin Drop during Halloween my sophomore year, as well as advertise our events at the Public Relations Officer my junior year. As a senior, I was elected to be the Associate Zone Counselor for Zone 10, and have enjoyed meeting many other students in my region as well as nationally by being apart of the National Council. My interest in science policy comes from a passion for Physics education in every public school. A good science education at an early age can set up students for success later in life, and every student deserves that opportunity. I'm excited for this opportunity to encourage legislatures to be passionate about Physics Education with me.
