Ollie Feldman

Biography

I am an undergraduate student at Lewis & Clark College with a major in physics and minor in mathematics. I got involved with SPS through my school's physics club my freshman year and have been involved ever since. This year I was the Treasurer of my school's physics club. I also grade for the physics department and work at the Symbolic and Quantitative Resource Center where I tutor mathematics and physics. As a future mathematics and physics teacher, my passion is incorporating social justice and exploratory learning into physics education. Last summer I participated in the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics Education program where I learned how to incorporate discovery learning in mathematics and physics education. My plans for the future including getting my Masters in Teaching for secondary mathematics and physics to be a high school teacher. In addition to physics, I enjoy reading, acting in theatre productions and playing Dungeons & Dragons with my friends.
