Hi, I'm Ryan, from Westfield, Massachusetts. I just graduated from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts with degrees in physics and English and a minor in mathematics. While I was there, I was a tutor for the intro physics and math classes and also the editor of photography and science writer for our college newspaper, The Beacon. This past spring, I did real science writing for the magazine Photonics.
I am also coming to D.C. fresh off of my trip to Socorro, New Mexico to observe the annular eclipse at the Very Large Array with Professor Jay Pasachoff from Williams College, I'm hoping to help analyze some of the temperature data taken with the VLA in my free time this summer.
In my spare time, I like reading pop sci and sci-fi/fantasy as well as basically every other kind of book, playing video and board games and pretending to play the guitar.
