Roberto Ramos

Dr. Ramos is known for his boundless energy, infectious passion for physics, and genuine care for students. He is a recipient of university teaching excellence awards and federal research grants, but is also credited with reviving and organizing two outstanding SPS chapters, at Drexel University and Indiana Wesleyan University, where he has mentored SPS members towards award-winning outreach, including multiple Marsh White Awards and many other outreach awards, after-school mentorship programs, and achieving high-profile graduate fellowships. He inspires his students to think big, go beyond their dreams, and has changed the culture of physics undergraduate life at his universities into one excelling in both research and physics outreach.
