I'm a senior physics major at the University of Central Arkansas with a minor in music and honors interdisciplinary studies. I enjoy being active in the physics community at UCA where I'm currently researching with my professors and preparing for one last year with my SPS chapter. Other than physics, I take voice lessons, sing with UCA's opera troupe, and play piano. I also am an active member in several other UCA student organizations, including the music fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota, and an anti-human trafficking organization called Finding Resources to End Exploitation (F.R.E.E.). In the community, I enjoy volunteering at Conway's Red Curtain Theatre and leading music for Sunday masses at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. I find in my life that there is a great interweaving of scientific curiosity with community outreach. While I love the academic realm of physics, I really aim to move towards science communication, education, and policy. More than anything I'm interested in studying the intersection of scientific research and its real-world consequences.
